Insurance Collections Representative

We are seeking knowledgeable, professional self-starters who want to work in a team-oriented environment. We have an immediate need for 2 insurance collectors with experience working in a medical office, in a hospital or have worked in an insurance environment. Candidates must possess excellent communication and organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, the tenacity and professional drive necessary to research and follow each insurance account to collection and completion.

Skills/Experience required:

• Commercial Insurance & Medicare Billing/Collections Experience
• Ability to Independently Analyze Remittance Advices
• Proficient Problem Solving Skills
• Familiarity with ICD-9 & CPT Codes
• Experience in Composing Successful Appeal Letters
• Ability to Work Well Under Pressure
• Effective Oral and Written Communication Skills
• Professional Appearance and Telephone Etiquette
• Knowledge of Next Gen Software Preferred

The successful candidate must be able to work independently in a consistently fast paced environment, build professional relationships with payers, the public and peers, and enjoy situations in which problem solving is required.
