Mike Brandao, RN, MSN, CFNP began collaborative practice with Dr. Pierce Nunley in 2003. He completed his undergraduate work in 1993 at Northwestern State University, earned his Masters Degree in Nursing in 2003. Mike has been certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2003 and he received the Louisiana Family Nurse Practitioner Grant for an outstanding Nurse Fellow.
Mike has been integrally involved with the initiation of the research program at the Spine Institute. He sees patients in clinic and assists Dr. Nunley during spine surgical procedures.
Mike is married to Jill Griffin Brandao and has two sons. He is an avid runner, outdoorsman, and is extensively involved in activities at Asbury United Methodist Church, including mission trips, youth ministry and committee involvement.
