Stephen Kay, PA-C began collaborative practice with Dr. Euby Kerr in December of 2005. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in August 2001 at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, where he continues to be involved through lecturing to students currently in the program. He received his spine training from 2002-2005 at the Baton Rouge Orthopaedic Clinic under Dr. Jorge Isaza.
Stephen has been a member of the Louisiana National Guard for the past 8 years as a Combat Medic, Pharmacy Technician, and now as a Physician Assistant, and was recently promoted to the rank of Captain. He has received several awards while serving his country to include the Louisiana War Cross and the Global War on Terrorism Medal.
His hobbies include softball and lifting weights and he is also involved in activities at his chuch, Shreveport Baptist Temple. Stephen sees patients in clinic and assists Dr. Kerr during spine surgical procedures. He is married to Sarah O’Laughlin Kay and has one son, Landon.
